Abstract


University sports teams in the development and construction, the development of competitive sports has opened up a whole new way, not only for national training high-level athletes, but also for our sports made outstanding contributions to scientific research. Track and Field as the "mother movement" in competitive sports and mass sports occupies a great proportion. Track and field arena in the world, China’s overall level of track and field athletics there is a big gap between Europe and the United States, power in the process of PE, the high level of college track and field team has an irreplaceable role in building.Through literature, questionnaires, interviews with experts and mathematical statistics 6 universities of Liaoning Province, a high level in track and field teams and the development problems to investigate. The study found: high-level sports team in Liaoning Province has achieved some success, especially the Dalian University of Technology, Liaoning Normal University and two universities. But there are still many deficiencies: 1) athletes, low level of school athletes, the training period is too short, less learning time, lack of training grants, medical supervision and imperfect; 2) coaches: the coaches age structure, education and the title structure is irrational, coaches, and other issues of scientific research is not strong; 3) training conditions: inadequate facilities, high level of subsidies is not enough track and field team, keep up with medical supervision conditions, and other issues.Provide a solution as follows: increased attention, emphasis on "Combination"; multi-level, multi-channel recruiting high level athletes to improve the competitive level of new students; strengthen the training of coache s, coaches strive to improve the operational capacity; expanded capital investment, raised public concern and so on.
