Abstract


With the Internet technology development, people deeply realize thatinternet is not only an information platform but also a large potentialcomputing platform. Therefore, the classical static software cannot adaptthe development of internet and software. In this context, many specialistsfocus on distributed computing. A lot of new technology such as gridcomputing, ubiquitous computing and Web Services were proposed.Internetware is a conception that considers the effects of open,dynamic and variable internet environment from the perspective ofsoftware patterns. It’s the expansion of classical software. Internetware hascharacters such as autonomy, evolution, cooperation, suitability andpolymorphism and the context is the foundation of autonomy and evolution.Because of the importance of the context, many research institutes andacademics pay much attention on it. So, context-aware computing appears.The lab which the author belongs defined internet context and proposed a context management model which supports the developing ofinternetware. This model bases on three aspects that are context modeling,context-aware and context processing and it is mainly used for supportingconstruction and operation of internetware. While the completedimplement has something to be improved such as needing to aware morecontexts, lacking of the function of contexts persistence and historicalcontexts management and lacking of an internet context managementplatform.This paper is based on the context management model and faces thedisadvantages above, analyzes and improves the original model anddesigns an application-Internet Context Management Platform.
