Abstract


In today's world, with the rapid socio-economic development as well as science and technology advances , the transfer of information and access to the growing shortcut , the world is undergoing profound changes in the unprecedented media are an increasingly important role in the social life . Ocean of information in the media , how to recognize , identify, trade-offs , the use of feedback and the production media information become essential literacy today - media literacy . Research on media literacy education in foreign countries , especially in Western countries has been carried out for many years, our media literacy education research is still at an early stage of exploration . Private college students as a special group of college students in China , they are media literacy training have a more realistic sense : by raising private colleges students media literacy so as to achieve the entire university student groups improve media literacy , while private colleges and universities students Media Literacy to improve and promote the healthy development of private higher education . This paper summarizes the media literacy training on the basis of the need for private college students , through questionnaires Media Literacy Status of Private College Students in Jiangsu Province is analyzed from four aspects : media ownership and consumption , the medium of choice and the ability to use media criticism and interpretation capabilities, media performance capabilities and improve the ability of self in the questionnaire based on analysis of media literacy needs of private colleges and universities students .
