Abstract


With the development of science and improvement of living standard, there is growing concern about the comfort of home environment and the security of family. Smart Home Security System can help people manage the details of life, achieve a "people-oriented" home life experience, and create harmonious family atmosphere. The paper analyzes the successful experience of the exiting Smart Home Security System and puts forward a complete set of Smart Home system. The system is based on ARM9 platform, and uses Embedded Linux, Web Server, motion detection, SQlite and other related technologies, and combined with Internet, ZigBee and GPRS network. The system improves the intelligence of the Smart Home System and puts forward new methods and ideas for Smart Home System.The System expands the means of the alarm by applying motion-alarm, infrared-alarm and temperature-alarm. When an exception occurs, the system will automatically capture images, and send to users’ mobile phone in the form of MMS and SMS. So that users can grasp clearly real-time situation in family. Users can send SMS to control home appliances. The system uses ZigBee for environmental monitoring to save the cost of wiring. The system interface use HTML, JavaScript and CSS technology, and can be realized directly in the browser, including remote control home appliances, real-time video monitoring, system management, user management and a series of other operations. Client and the server uses AJAX technology to implement asynchronous communication, improve the efficiency of server’s response. System use SQlite database to manage user information, pictures, information and phone number, etc.The structural frames of software and hardware, as well as the demonstration of technical scheme about the Smart Home Security System are introduced in this paper. It discusses the development process of the system in detail. Meanwhile the concrete software realization of different functional modules is focused. Performance tests show that this system achieves the anticipated goal.
