Abstract


Mongolian language has a long history and includes abundant information.In the information age, using computer to processing information is a newtopic that the times endow us and also the necessity of social development.The processing study of Mongolian language begins from the end of70sand in the early of80s. China achieves a serious of success in the computertechnology’s using in Mongolian language information processing. China alsomade it possible of Mongolian language electronic composition andintroduced the ISO Code, computer translation, mega data base construction,Mongolian language print form identification technology. It developedMongolian WPS Office, Red Office displaying engine system, Mongolianlanguage grammar dictionary system and so on. It completes the input methodand Mongolian language network technology as well as made possible theMongolian language internet searching, e-mail, online shop and onlinechatting system. These achievements create a better condition for thepopularizing the computer information processing of Mongolian language inChina.The thesis includes six parts: in the introduction part it introduces thestudy background and its meaning, study situation, study content, method andinnovation point. In chapter one, the thesis introduce separately the studycontent and development history as well as the studying history of Chineseinformation processing history and Mongolian language informationprocessing history. Chapter two introduce the breakthrough of key technologyof Mongolian language information processing technology in the followingsix fields: rule-making, completion of font library, construction of informationdata, completion and development of input method, Mongolian languagecomputer translation and Mongolian language network technology maturity. Chapter three analyze and compare the investment and achievements ofChinese government to minority information processing work. It alsointroduces in details the development and current situation of Mongolianlanguage information processing institutions in the last30years. Chapter fourprospects the history of Mongolian language processing technology researchand analyzes in detail the value and current problems of Mongolian languageprocessing technology. It also makes clearly the key obstacles of policy,human resources and revenue to accelerate the Mongolian languageprocessing technology. In the same time it prospects the future research trendof Mongolian language processing technology. The conclusion part clears theresearch achievement of the thesis and forward suggestions for the next stepstudy.
