Abstract


News as the most important form of information combined with the Internet has become increasingly closer. In the Internet era, the news has changed into a set of pictures from text, audio and video is one of the multimedia format. International Press Telecommunications Council IPTC based Internet news production, dissemination and exchange needs to develop a standard XML-based multimedia news - NewsML. NewsML-based news management and publishing system can efficiently manage news data, edit and modify to achieve news, news retrieval and press releases and other functions. Because XML NewsML has the same tree structure, self-describing and scalability features, how to effectively and easily store, manage and publish NewsML document data is the focus of this study. XML data management are two solutions: one is to use expanded management capabilities for XML, relational database, the database that supports XML (XML-Enabled Database, XED); Another is the ability to XML-based data using native tree or hierarchical structure preservation and management, and can use a dedicated XML query language for XML data operation of the database, native XML databases (Native XML Database, NXD). This paper analyzes the native XML database data storage and query technology, and native XML management applications to the system and its implementation. NewsML editor is based on NewsML news management and publishing system is very important part of this module will enable the integration of news elements, these elements are combined into a news NewsML document, the editor will achieve NewsML document is saved or updated to the database function. Editor XForms form using technology to achieve. In this paper, XForms were analyzed for XForms performance logic and data phase separation characteristics of the detail, the data will be submitted to XForms stream data submission applied to the system. This paper also analyzes the XML query language - XQuery functions and grammatical structures, and demonstrates the use of XQuery implementations for NewsML data query and document publishing functions can be realized. Finally, the analysis of the system requirements modeling using UML were then analyzed using the system development architecture decisions based on Browser / Server architecture model of three-tier system, this three-tiered system model includes the presentation layer, an intermediate layer and data layer. Then these three structures were analyzed in detail. And later analyzed and used by the system design NewsML based data model. Then the system implementation involved, such as NewsML-based editor, NewsML data preservation and retrieval with updates and news release and other important modules and technical difficulties of a detailed description of the development and proposed a more viable solution.
