Abstract


With the continuous development of information technology, the increasingly high demand of IT services requires IT services to be more professional. In recent years, many companies are trying to outsource all or part of their IT operations in order to reduce operating costs, to optimize IT organizational structure and reduce the IT team size and to improve their core business capabilitiesThe article takes ABC Appliance Retail Company’s IT outsourcing project as a research object, aims to study the IT outsourcing theories, appliance retail company’s IT department organizational structure, IT management costs of operation and maintenance, IT strategic planning level, and operation and maintenance management levels with depth analysis based on the company’s requirements in order to reduce IT operation and maintenance costs, improve IT operation and maintenance management level. The article also discusses the ABC Appliance Retail Company’s IT outsourcing model and outsourcing scope. ABC Appliance Retail Company tentatively use commissioned based outsourcing model. In terms of outsourcing scope, it would include service desk, data center management, hosting, network management, and enterprise private cloud design and construction, six major content in total. The IT outsourcing vendor selection is based AHP method. At the same time, the article is to study the ABC appliance retail company IT Operation Outsourcing Relationship Management, the solution of how to establish and maintain the IT Operation Outsourcing relationship and governance model. The research results are valuable to ABC appliance retail companies in terms of optimizing IT organizational structure, stressing the size of the IT staff, reducing operating costs and improving the company’s core business values.
