Abstract


With the wide use of network in civil and military areas, how to do performancetest on network becomes an important research area. One of key technologies is how todeal with test results automatically and effectively. Due to various data types and largeamount of the test results in complex test scene, traditional artificial processing methodbased on users’ experiences shows more and more inefficiency and even out of control.At present, there isn’t uniform approach and theory to handle with network test results,and molding system also doesn’t exist. To address this issue and relying on practicalresearch program, this paper carries out research on intelligent processing for networktest results. With expert system as center mode, knowledge representation, knowledgebase management as well as the design of inference machine are mainly studied.Firstly, the paper comparatively analyzes merits and demerits of several commonrepresentation methods. Combining the characteristic of network test results,comprehensive knowledge representation based on XML is designed and implemented.On these foundations, we make a research on organization and operating principle ofknowledge base system. According to knowledge base’s building principle, aknowledge base based on XML is constructed, and the content and operating methodsof knowledge base for network test results are designed and implemented. Finally, thispaper studies inference method and control strategy based on knowledge base, anddesigns an effective knowledge analysis and inference strategy combining knowledgebase.Based on the above researches, this article designs and implements a system thatdeal with network test results intelligently. The system can manage knowledge base,test task management, process intelligently, etc. Through testing on the system, theeffectiveness of functions are proved, including management of knowledge, test of taskmanagement and automatically intelligent processing of test results,. The completedsystem has been applied in practical network testing condition and obtains goodresults.
