Abstract


With the popularity of the network and the rapid development of online information in the form of growth of the index. To bring the rich resources of these massive amounts of information, but also on how to effectively access and use the information to people brought a huge challenge. The traditional search engines to some extent alleviate the contradiction, however, unable to understand the semantics of these information, the quality and effectiveness of its retrieval far not satisfactory, its recall and precision rate has to be raised. Semantic search engine will search strategies increased from traditional Keywords level to the semantic level, the combination of intelligent reasoning techniques to improve the performance of the search. Semantic search technology information semantic representation and knowledge reasoning, semantic correlation computing can effectively solve the current difficulties faced by the retrieval technology. This paper first introduces a search engine works, classification and evaluation criteria. Followed by a detailed study of the status of the search engine, and analyze the existing problems. In turn leads to a semantic search engine, semantic search engine related terms, its key technologies, working principle and the development and application of the status quo. Exist for traditional search engines can not understand the semantics of defects, the paper proposes a personalized ontology-based semantic search engine, and the combination of technology and the advantages of traditional search engines to design a search engine can increase semantic understanding Sendu. The engine of Sendu Heritrix as reptiles crawl network information resources as a basis to build a traditional search engine Lucene framework, to increase semantic understanding, ontology editing tools protégé to create the domain ontologies. Sendu engine by using the body converts the user query keywords into identifiable areas of semantic terminology. Sendu use RDF API - jena reasoning, vocabulary semantic relationship with the user search keywords, such as synonyms, hypernyms. These extended term will increase the recall rate of the search engines, such as when a search for the word \Query the relevant pages of the \The body will be a flexible way to organize terminology. Sendu engine also proposed to increase the three semantic search filter to filter out some users do not want to get pages, allows users to take a customized way to achieve the implementation of the prototype system, for example, if the user does not consider some PDF resources online, Semantic search filter will filter the documents in this format, to solve the current search engines to ignore some format document resources. Finally, we realized the Sendu engine prototype system, to get a better recall and precision. On the assessment of the performance of the system, further improvement of the system, and prospect of the application prospects of the semantic search engine.
