Abstract


The library is the information center of a university. The diversified information demand of the user makes the academic library realize the importance of cooperation. In addition, information technology provides the opportunities for cooperation. Thus, the academic library alliance arises. The academic library is a survival mode of the university library in modern society. It achieves mutual benefits through sharing information resource, so as to provide users with high quality information service. A single library not only cannot guarantee information resources, and no more energy to explore new service mode. The academic library alliance is the best way to solve the contradiction.This thesis can be divided into seven chapters. Chapter1is introduction, which set forth research background, purpose, significance, domestic and foreign research review, research contents, methods and innovation points. Chapter2is the overview of the academic library alliance. It expounds the related concepts of the academic library alliance on the whole, including the concept、meaning、influencing factors、 management model and operating mechanism of the academic library alliance. Chapter3is the current situation of academic library alliance at home and abroad. It makes a brief introduction of the fundamental state of academic library alliance at home and abroad, analyzes the typical cases and then draws a conclusion of academic library alliance. Development situation of domestic academic library alliance takes CALIS、CADAL and CASHL as national academic library alliance and takes Network Library of Beijing、Shanghai Education Network Library、Tianjin Academic Library and Information System as three examples of regional academic library alliances. Development situation of foreign academic library alliance discusses respectively from America, Britain, Germany, Japan. Afterwards, it introduces several influential foreign academic library alliance, for example, OCLC, Ohio Link, WRLC, ICOLC. At last, according to the development situation of academic library alliance at home and abroad and the organization development situation of the typical cases, it summaries some advanced experience. Chapter4analyzes the necessity and feasibility of the construction of Anhui Academic Library Alliance based on ADL. Chapter5is the investigation and analysis of Anhui Academic Digital Library. The organization management system, funding, resources construction, services, personnel training of Anhui Academic Digital Library are investigated. It discusses five problems of Anhui Academic Digital Library in the operation process throng investigation, that is, short resource construction fund, low integrated retrieval technology, insufficient course platform construction, seriously repeated resource Construction and less information resources services. Based on the advanced experience of domestic and international academic library alliance, the thesis puts forward the idea of constructing Anhui Academic Library Alliance, combined with the development of Anhui Academic Digital Library. Chapter6expounds the objectives、 main function、the organization management system、funding sources and contents of Anhui Academic Library Alliance. The main contents can be divided into literature resource guarantee system, co-construction and sharing of bibliographic resource, inter-library loan and literature delivery, characteristic database construction, the construction of discipline document center, combined reference, staff training and cooperation and communication. In addition, it proposes development advices in building Anhui Academic Library Alliance, which tries to realize the information resource sharing to provide information service for the academic users, then promotes the social development. The last chapter is a conclusion, a sweeping view of the full text.Building Anhui Academic Library Alliance is the best way to roundly meeting the diversified information demand of academic users in the province. Anhui Academic Library Alliance can realize the co-construction and sharing of literature information resource, provide high quality information service and promote the social and economic development of Anhui province.
