Abstract


The construction of public cultural service system need the support and active participation form cultural departments and units of social groups. The cooperation between the public library and social organization is a complex system, this paper discusses the public library social cooperation refers to the public library and other social service agencies (such as the relevant government departments, cultural departments and archives and other cultural institutions, charitable organizations, media, the database provider or consulting company and other commercial institutions).This article uses the methods of literature and interview method, and collects the reliable cases through interviewing the related professionals and accessing to major website of the public library; Based on the cases, the article analysis and summaries the modes and countermeasures.Firstly, this article describes the background and the significant of social cooperation in the public libraries, and then points out the research methods and research contents, moreover, this article summarizes and analysis the academia research of the problem. Secondly, the article analysis the contradictions exist in the process of social cooperation of the public library as well as the need for cooperation. Thirdly, the article elaborates the typical case of social cooperation in the public libraries at home and abroad, and based on these samples, we summarize the cooperation framework. Finally, according to the main framework, we proposes the feasible suggestions and countermeasures, for example, We should develop a pattern of mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation, or strengthen the cooperation between the libraries and enterprises, even the authorized cooperation or the game cooperation.
