UV communication as a new type of wireless optical communication technology , due to its characteristics , confidentiality , anti-interference ability , all-weather all-round work . In recent decades , the ultraviolet communication is more and more attention , especially applicable in the field of military and other classified high , short-distance communication . The article is in the ultraviolet communication on the basis of video image transmission design . The design is based on the the DSP embedded real-time video image transmission system , the DSP is selected TI's TMS320DM642 as the core processor to build the hardware platform to complete the video image acquisition , processing , transmission and display work . Camera analog video signal acquisition input TVP5150 and Philips of the SAA7121H chip A / D and D / A conversion , using EDMA realization of digital video data handling , the DM642 video port to control input and output , and thus complete the video acquisition, digital processing , transmission and display system functions . Characteristics of DSP - based embedded systems , the system has a rich peripheral interfaces and a high degree of programmability , which has good flexibility and scalability , to be applied in different circumstances . The design is completed embedded video image transmission system and the ultraviolet light communication system combining the DSP in the digital image signal is compressed by using a still image compression standard JPEG standard , and then use the serial port as connected to the transmission interface and UV Communication System . In the receiving end of the same using the serial port will be received JPEG stream transmission to the PC , with VC 6.0 the design receiving end software to the received code stream , and to decode and display the work , thereby completing the transmission of the video image in the UV Communication System .
