Abstract


Quick response is the key factor of company’s survival and development inrecent competitive market. Most of the corporations will treat critical parts asinventory to reduce machine down time. Meanwhile it is possible to replace old partsin advance by prevent maintenance. We call these parts as spare parts.Under this underground, in order to replace broken parts in time, shorten machinedown time, it is important to be discussed on equipment management how many spareparts we should have and when we can get the parts. The efficient method to solvethese questions is spare parts forecast and reasonable inventory management.This article mainly talks about spare parts classification, forecast by differentspare parts consumption and inventory strategy.
