With the quickening of the process of economic globalization, all walks of lifeactively and fully integrate with the international market overall standards, thecompetitors of enterprises also turn single domestic enterprises into owning advancedtechnology, the standardized management and well capitalized international enterprise,lead engineering project competition intensified. At the same time, the engineeringprojects, especially large projects have characteristics of a long cycle, large investment,complex technology, extensive scope and so on, in the process of construction, they areheavily influenced by mass changing uncertainty factors, random factors and fuzzyfactors, the risks that they face change bigger and bigger, and the resulting loss are alsoheaver and heavier, which direct threat the success of engineering project.Through consulting a large number of domestic and foreign information aboutengineering project risk management, the article has introduced the related basic theoriesof risk management, systematically analyzed and researched the procedure ofengineering project risk management compared some commonly used methods inengineering project risk identification, risk analysis and risk evaluation, and some generalmeasures to cope with engineering project risks. Finally, with the example of a universitygymnasium in Shandong engineering project，the paper has described and classified ofrisk factors occurred in the engineering project, and flexibly used basic theory andmethods of modern engineering project risk identification and evaluation to analyze andevaluate the project risk, in view of the characteristics of the project, I put forward tosome opinions and counter measures of the risks, in order to provide a reference forperfecting decision-making in engineering project risk management.
