Abstract


21st century humanity faces the challenge of transforming the economic growth mode , with low power consumption , low material consumption , low emission , low pollution , low-carbon economy is characterized by transformation of the mode of economic development trends . Concept of low-carbon economy and circular economy , scientific development concept is the same strain of scientific ideas . Since the 1970s, the reform and opening up, China introduced a large use of FDI, the economy has been rapid development, the ecological environment has been severely forced bad , FDI and the relationship between China's economic well-being of society more and more attention . In this paper, a low-carbon economy as the research background, making foreign direct investment relationship with China's environmental welfare studies, discusses the country 's main source of foreign direct investment , FDI regional distribution characteristics and distribution of its industry , through theoretical and empirical research FDI and environmental benefits of the relationship between the model and the empirical analysis, the innovative introduction of the Clean Development mechanism (CDM) as a factor of the number of contracts and found that FDI on China's environmental benefits at this stage have a significant negative effect . However, the development of the clean development mechanism could play a negative impact on such a role in mitigation , can promote the improvement of China's environmental benefits , to achieve sustainable economic development . Finally , the article on China's low-carbon economy, how to make better use of FDI some suggestions .
