Abstract


With the gradually accelerating process of global economic integration, the airport management and development give up some new changes and new trends since the twenty-first century. More and more airport managers have gradually changed their awareness of airport business, and some foreign advanced airports have greatly enhanced the development and utilization of resources for non-aviation business in addition of strengthening traditional security operations management, which achieved very good results. Based on the advanced management experience of foreign airports, how should the domestic airport carry out non-aviation business became the main problem for most of them.Starting from defining the concept of non-aviation business, the author analyzes the necessity of development of non-aviation airport business for domestic airports by using of the theory and tools of development strategy, which is based on research literature of the airport non-aeronautical business. As follows it analyzes development trends, characteristics, necessity of non-aviation business of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, and elaborates the development trends of non-aviation business industry, the macro environment and internal business operations present, which also sums up its opportunities, threats, strengths and weaknesses. On this basis, the paper makes SWOT matrix matching for non-aeronautical business of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, and puts forward the development strategy, also the principle, objectives, positioning and implementation of ideas. Then it indicates the specific implementation measures, as doing a good job on the layout and pricing of the retail business, airport aviation logistics business development platform to build, to build the brand of airport aviation technology industry development, and vigorously aspects. Finally the paper proposes protection of the implementation of the strategy, including the corporate culture support, organizational structure protection, human resources security measures financial management support.
