Abstract


Traditional working capital management, which focused on structuraloptimization and amount holding, is challenged by that it can hardly guide enterprisesmanagement to make decisions effectively in the complicated and volatile economicenvironment. Although in recent years the new management strategy that combinedworking capital management with channel management and business processmanagement provides a new research perspective, widespread integration of existingtheory into enterprise working capital management practice still worthy of furtherresearch.This paper takes a comprehensive, systematic research on the performanceimprovement of HL company working capital management in the view of channelmanagement-based working capital management. Firstly, elaborates on the relativetheory and compares the traditional working capital management with the channelmanagement-based working capital management and analyses the importance ofcombination of channel management theory and the working capital management.Then, based on an analysis of the HL corporation working capital management statusand existing problems, from the angle of channel management, builds a new workingcapital management system for HL company:1. from strategic level, raise awarenessof management, improve the corporation’s working capital management system；2.from technical level, perfect company management information system, for providingstrong support for the informalization of working capital management;3. fromchannel management level, optimize the channel structure of the procurement,production, and sales, and improve channel relationships.This paper breaks through the traditional working capital managementperspective, from the view of channel management, to improve enterpriseperformance of working capital management on the basis of research and explorationin the theory and practice, and it is conducive to improving the current enterpriseworking capital management system, and provide reference to HL Corporation andother enterprises to solve the problem of working capital management.
