Abstract


Cost management has always been a frequent topic. Amid fierce market competitions, cost management is playing a more and more significant role for enterprises to achieve better development in addition to capital and technology. To reduce costs and obtain cost advantages is the key for an enterprise’s survival and growth, and to constantly cut down costs has become a goal pursued by every enterprise.At present, most transportation enterprises still implement extensive way of business management. Given more and more mature market and more and more intense market competitions, various defects of extensive management and its adverse effects on enterprise development are apparently visible. It results in low efficiency of production and business operation, severe wastes and poor cost control. Conventional extensive management falls far short of the needs for the sustainable growth of enterprises and is obviously inconsistent with the requirements of cost management of modern enterprises, which calls for enterprises to adopt a new way of cost management to overcome the defects, change from passive cost management to active cost management, implement cost control throughout production and business management and realize fine management of costs, to improve processes, enhance efficiency and achieve the purpose of cost control through fine management.The paper will analyze and summarize the cost management situation of transportation enterprises, and study how to improve cost management of transportation enterprises through fine management, in the hope of providing reference for transportation enterprises to strengthen fine management, enhance cost management level and market competiveness and promote sustainable development. The paper takes SD Company as the case study. Faced with ever more intense market competition, SD Company saw less and less profit margin and even loss. Only implement cost fine management, SD Company can adapt to the fierce market competition, achieve profitability and realize sound and rapid development. This paper designed the SD Company’s cost of fine management solution based on the basic level, management level, control level. Experiment this solution has obtained the certain effect.
