Abstract

Switched reluctance motor (SRM) is an advanced electromechanical device.Nowadays,It was widely providing solutions in aviation, automob- ile, spinning, mining, etal. But the excessive vibration and acoustic noise was limited application of the SRM in other fields for its special working mode. In the thesis, the themes was how to control the excessive vibration and acoustic noise of SRM.The formal of SRM was closely related to the excessive vibration and acoustic noise . From acoustic noise radiation and vibrative amplitude point of view, the determination of main dimensions of SRM is discussed. The research about the relationship between vibration noise and the phase winding connection and the pole number are discussed. The prototype of SRM was designed with orders.Since the stator radial vibration was caused by radial force ,which was the main origin of acoustic noise in SRM. The basic vibration and acoustic noise research of SRM was analysis and computation of radial force. In this thesis ,magnetic tube method was adopted to deduce the analytic formula of radial force. Then the relationship between radial force and structural parameters of the motor was qualitatively analyzed. According to the principle of virtualwork, the formula of electromagnettic force which based on magnetic vector potential was deduced. The electromagnetic finite element analysis software of Ansoft was used to analysis the flux density, inductance, torque ,etal.MATLAB was used to establish the nonlinear dynamic simulation model of SRM and simulation. In this thesis, the direct torque control was proposed to use in SRM. The dynamic simulation of torque waveforms and flux waveform were carried out and compared with the waveforms under current chopper control. It was proved that the excessive vibration and acoustic noise was effectively suppressed.
