Abstract

With the continuous development of the EBC business, supply chain operations and more complex. The company supply chain management faced with how to consider the constraints of resources and materials in the plan, the orders set aside order commitment, multi-organization plan and many other issues. These business problems has become an obstacle to the company's future business development. Existing ERP system from the system there is no way to support the solution of the above problems. The EBC APS system provides comprehensive supply chain management solutions, EBC company can help to solve the above problems. In accordance with the relevant understanding at the same time, more and more companies begin to optimize company-related business through the APS system, application implementation, EBC company implementation of APS provides a realistic reference case. For these reasons, EBC has decided to implement the APS system. In this paper, the application and implementation of the EBC the APS system, show the APS system compared to many of the advanced nature of the original ERP system by analyzing APS project implementation in EBC process: (1) traditional ERP plan for unlimited resources Program, APS is a finite resource constrained plan - material constraints and production constraints plan, plan more feasible; (2) the traditional ERP program is only part of the supply chain plan can not be a multi-organization plan, the operation of the scheme cycle longer, APS so enterprise single is scheduled to run across multiple factories and period of time while developing materials and production capacity plans, improve response capabilities; (3) traditional ERP planned orders promised unlimited supply of resources, query cycle length and inaccurate, APS resource constraints plan and the Global Order Promising feature that provides fast and accurate order commitments, improve customer satisfaction; (4) traditional ERP does not have the materials and resources to replace ineffective use of alternative resources, APS support function of materials and resources, alternative, effective use of alternative materials and alternative resources, optimize production and operational efficiency of the supply chain; main research content of this paper and the results are as follows: (1) to EBC implementation examples demonstrate the APS system in the constrained plan, global order commitments and multi-organization plan application process and advanced; (2) dialectical analysis APS system data requirements, fully dynamic computation and optimization programs lack, and describes its future directions for improvement; (3) summarized the APS system project management lessons learned in the process of enterprise applications;
