Abstract


With the rapid development of financial liberalization and financial innovation, commercial bank risk is showing a trend of diversification, complication and globalization. Basel III has made the content of risk management change from simplification to all-direction. For china’s commercial bank, credit risk is still the major risk and there is still a wide gap of credit risk management between domestic bank and foreign bank. So, to construct a perfect credit risk control and management system is becoming an urgent problem for BJ bank Xi’an branch.This paper is in view of BJ bank Xi’an branch. First, we do a systematical combing over the advanced theories of credit risk management of international banks. We then analyze the current credit risk management and the problem of BJ bank Xi’an branch. Considering Basel III and referencing the experience of international banks, we construct the Credit Risk Management System from policy, culture and organization structure, credit risk service management process, and information system and tools。Finally, we based on the reality of BJ bank Xi’an branch to put forward some countermeasures and suggestions.This paper combined theory with practice, designed an operational credit risk management system according to this bank’s own features and put forward some targeted countermeasures and suggestions. Besides, this system has some reference meanings for same-type banks.
