As the problems of energy shortage and global environment are more seriously, wemust look for another clean and reproducible energy. The research and development ofsolar battery are paid more attention, thus it is the key problem for us to search thematerial with high photoelectric conversion efficiency.When the sunlight irradiate on thesurface of solar battery,part of the sun reflex,which can influence the photoelectricconversion efficiency.Now forming an antireflection on the surface of the solar battery isone way to enhance the photoelectric conversion efficiency.SnO2thin film is one kind of metal oxide materials, which has wide band gap, lowresistance, high chemical and thermal stability, deciding to select it as antireflectionmaterial of solar battery. The depositing-thin-film in this thesis adopts the method ofPECVD, This thesis contains these sections below:Section (1) presents the characteristics and development trend of photovoltaictechnology, solar battery working principle as well as some features of the materialswhich are used for solar energy.Section (2) presents some features and applications of SnO2as well as the advantageswhen it’s used to be window material of solar battery. Also, this section describes themethods which are generally used to preparation SnO2thin film.Section (3) presents growth principle and test methods of thin film, as well as theprocess PECVD preparation thin film, data gathering and so on.Section (4) analyzes the crystal structure, surface morphology, optical properties andelectrical properties with the gathering data.
