Abstract


The public are facing the various crisis as the population and social economicdevelopment in the21st century, especially for the food crisis, which is very significant inChina and leads to the contradiction between the field and population. The insufficiency ofthe arable land resource in support is one of significant ways to solve the contradiction of ourcountry. The arable land resource will be helpful for the national food security and socialeconomic sustainable development. The arable land resource as the supplementary resourceshas the significant practical significance in national economy and stable development.This study discusses the potential theory of the cultivated land resource and their assesssystem. After using the area of Wuqi county, Yanan city, Shaanxi province to assess thecurrent arable land resource, we connect the Delphi method and analytic hierarchy process todetermine the slope, the slope direction arable land resource, soil layer thickness, water, trafficconvenience and residential areas and their weights. Using space, buffer and addition analysisof the ArcGIS software, and then give the assignment of six factors, at last we trace and assessthem using the comprehensive index, thereby building the model of various factorscomprehensive assessment. Thus, we get the quantity, quality and space distribution patternand the recent, middle and further exploit of the three aspects. Then the research provides thetheoretical basis of optimizing and adjusting the land use structure, establishing the reasonableland use and exploitation.
