Abstract

Fossil fuel alternatives, such as solar energy, are moving to the fore-front in avariety of research fields. Organic solar cell have attracted great attention in recentyears because the advantages of low cost, solution processibility, light weight andeasy to fabrication toward flexible large-area devices. The function of such excitonicsolar cells is based on photoinduced electron transfer from a donor to an acceptor.Fullerenes have become the ubiquitous acceptors because of their high electronaffinity and the ability to transport charge effectively. Design and synthesis of theconjugated organic donor material which have the narrow band gap and low HOMOlevel, optimizing the molecular structure is the major method to improve theefficiency of the organic solar cells. In this papers, we have designed and synthesizeda series of new narrow band-gap organic conjugated donor material and applied toorganic solar cell, we carry out the following works:1,Designed and prepared a series of benzothiadiazole group D-A polymer, onthe one hand, the benzothiadiazole with the Benzodiazepin thiophene Stille couplingpolymerization, the synthesis of three pure organic D-A structure polymer P1-P3; onthe other hand benzothiadiazole with the metallopolyynes of platinum through theSonogashira reaction of get the conjugated polymers P4, P5. By adjusting the lengthof the main chain on the thiophene unit, to achieve the purpose that adjusting theperformance of the photovoltaic material, and to obtain a series of polymers havingexcellent properties.2,Triphenylamine or the derivative of triphenylamine as the electron donor, cyanoacrylate or rhodanine as electron acceptor. respectively, with dicyclopentadienethiophene and its N-substituted derivatives of dithiophene pyrrole as the π-bridge,synthetized a series of excellent performance dye-sensitized solar cell, analysis andstudy the various parts of units’s effect to the characterization and performance ofdye-sensitized solar cell.3,By continuing to replace the the π-bridge which in the D-π-A structure of dye, further to study the different of conjugated structure of the aromatic ring in thecompounds and the different performance of the dye sensitizer.
