Abstract


Butyl rubber (IIR) and brominated butyl rubber (BIIR) having excellent airtight performance , the preferred types of plastic for the manufacture of tire inner tubes and airtight layer by glue kinds and use, to improve its bonding processing performance and reduce costs, but will cause the airtight performance degradation . This article was prepared by mechanical blending process different types of plastic and / butyl rubber blends system clay nanocomposites initially explored the problem of the two-phase structure of the dispersion of clay lamellae and rubber blend different rubber blends important guiding significance of the inner tube and the air barrier material design and production applications . The main work is as follows : 1, prepared by mechanical blending process IIR / EPDM / OC nanocomposites , different mixing sequence , different rubber and rubber blend microscopic phase behavior , mechanical properties , airtight performance impact, in the IIR and a relatively low cost of EPDM , having a larger aspect ratio OC improved airtight performance . 2 , the BIIR with industrialization clay / styrene-butadiene rubber nanocomposite masterbatch with rubber blend using analytical tools such as XRD, TEM, DMTA, DSC characterization of morphology ; due to the barrier effect of clay on the gas and rubber blend unique island structure of the two-phase , in the appropriate proportion glue still be able to maintain good air tightness ; 3 , the study OC and CB alone use or BUR NR rubber blends of morphology , mechanical properties, gas dense performance , and a very good analysis of morphology explain the macroscopic properties of the rubber blend . 4 , reclaimed rubber reinforcement : butyl reclaimed rubber difficult for (RIIR) to reinforcement , reinforced by changing the recipe or reinforcement system , study results, and reinforcement mechanism summarize .
