Due to its advantage-softness, lubrication, hydrophobicity, good film-forming, and special function given by modified groups, modified amino-silicon oil is receiving increasingly attention and becoming one of the essential raw material among finishing auxiliaries which provides high added-value and functionalization to fiber. Nano-metallic oxide particles are important research object due to size effect and excellent heating conductivity. This paper is mainly aim to prepare and modify nano-metallic oxide particles coupled with prepared amino-silicon oil by coupling reagent, which makes cotton fabric soft, roughly unchanged white, hydrophilic and hydrophobic and improved heating conductivity. It’s practically significant for the research and development for special auxiliaries.Amino silicone oil with two amidos on side chain, catalyzed by tetramethyl ammonium hydroxide, was first synthesized by N-β-(aminoethyl)-γ-aminopropyl methyldimethoxy silane as coupling agent, octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane as raw material and hexamethyldisiloxane as end-capped reagent.Fluorine-modified amino-silicon oil and epoxy group polyether amino-silicon oil were obtained after the reaction of prepared amino-silicon oil with trifluoroethyl methacrylate(TFEMA) and double end-epoxy group polyether(DENP) respectively. The effects of reaction conditions on reaction conversion were discussed. The results show that reaction conversion was maximum when the mass ratio of TFEMA and amino-silicon oil is1:1, the optimal reaction time is90min, hydrophobicity of cotton fabric finished by it can reach3.5th grade, whiteness is79.5~80(80.5for original fabric). The whiteness(79.8) of fabric finished by fluorine-modified amino-silicon oil is similar to the original one, the hydrophobicity was improved to some degree compared with commercial silicon oil; The reaction conversion was maximum when the molecular weight of DENP is500; The stability of the product was maximum when the mass ratio of DENP and amino-silicon oil is20:1; The hydrophility was also improved to some degree compared with commercial silicon oil.Nano-TiO2was prepared by hydrolytic precipitation. The particle size was about10nm. Nano-TiO2and were modified by triethanolamine(TEA) first and then by coupling reagent KH-560. IR test shows it was chemically modified, after which the particle size minimized to about1Onm with great stability. The modified nano particles were at last coupled with amino-silicon oil and finished onto the fabric. The results show that the surface of the finished fabric was covered by a layer of amino-silicon oil film coupled with nano particles, which partly filled air gap between fiber and get through the conductive pathway, as a result, the heat conductivity coefficient(λ) of the fabric was improved from0.1Wm-1K-1(before treated) to0.21Wm-1K-1(after treated), the cold-hot Sensation(Q-max) was improved from0.143W/cm2(before treated) to0.172W/cm2Wm-1K-1(after treated); The λ of the fabric increased with the increase of mass of the nano particle. There is a catastrophe point before which the λ increased gently with the concentration of nano particle and at which the λ increased sharply. The λ was maximum when the concentration of nano particle is1.5g/L. Fabric thickness is also relate to λ, the λ decreased with the reduce of thickness; The thicker of the fabric, the more air in it, so the larger the heat resistance would be and the poor the λ. Nano ZnO and TiO2particles were evenly distributed on the fabric surface, some of which covered in and out of the fabric surface in bulk.
