The purpose of the first part of the impact of nicotine on the third trimester of pregnancy of fetal sheep oxygen metabolism, electrolytes, heart rate and arrhythmia: study late pregnancy ewes exposed to different doses of nicotine under conditions of fetal sheep blood oxygen metabolism, electrolytes, heart rate and arrhythmia impact. Methods: in late pregnancy ewes vein injection the different dose nicotine (10ug/kg,, 25ug/kg) injection of saline as a control, the blood gas analyzer mother, after 15 minutes the oxygen metabolic markers of fetal sheep, electrolyte levels, osmolality detected in plasma osmolality; Mother of Power-lab were recorded in the fetal sheep heart rate and cardiac cycle changes, the the intrauterine fetal sheep cardiac cycle change to determine fetal sheep arrhythmias. Results: late pregnancy ewes intravenous nicotine, the ewes oxygen metabolism, blood electrolyte levels, and the control group was no significant difference, compared the fetal sheep electrolyte with the control group no significant difference in fetal sheep blood oxygen partial pressure in the nicotine group (PO2) decreased partial pressure of carbon dioxide (PCO2) increased fetal sheep decrease in heart rate and arrhythmia increased significantly compared with the control group, there were significant differences (P lt; 0.05). Conclusion: late pregnancy ewes intravenous injection of different doses of nicotine significantly increased incidence of fetal sheep arrhythmia. The second part of gestational nicotine exposure on fetal and adult male rat offspring oxygen metabolism, the impact of the development of the heart and arrhythmias Objective: To study the pregnancy maternal nicotine exposure on fetal rat oxygen metabolism and adult offspring rats the arrhythmia the impact. Methods: pregnancy female rats from gestation to 21 days subcutaneous injection the nicotine 1.5mg/kg.d (nicotine group), the injection of saline (control group), blood gas analyzers detect pregnancy 21 days dams and 21 days of fetal rat metabolism of oxygen and blood electrolyte levels, Osmometer detection plasma osmolality level; weighing fetal weight and heart weight, and calculated cardiac index. The blood gas analyzer from April to May in adult male offspring oxygen metabolism and blood electrolyte levels, heart weight and offspring body weight of rats were weighed, ECG machine records changes in heart rate and arrhythmia in rats constraint status and nicotine stimulate. Results: The the nicotine group of fetal rat serum electrolytes control group showed no significant difference, but in the metabolism of oxygen PO2 decreased, PCO2 increased pH value decreased fetal heart weight, weight loss, and the control group difference was significant (P lt; 0.05); the pregnancy given nicotine adult male offspring rats oxygen metabolism, blood electrolytes, body weight and heart weight and the control group showed no significant difference, but the basis of elevated heart rate, nicotine stimulated the incidence of arrhythmia and The control group was significantly higher (P lt; 0.05); basic state arrhythmias no significant difference between the control group. Conclusion: pregnancy maternal nicotine given its adult male offspring increased heart rate, the nicotine stimulated arrhythmia incidence was significantly elevated.
