Abstract


Land-to-Land ballistic missile is launched from ground and against ground targets, it can be seenfrequently in many international wars and have received serious attentions by many countries becauseof its great power, long range, high precision, etc. Because the trajectory and the control law ofland-to-land ballistic missile is designed before launch, the design and optimization of its trajectory isa very important part in missile general design, it influence if the missile can play its performance asusual.This thesis is focused on the simulation and optimization of land-to-land ballistic missiletrajectory. The main contents are as following:Firstly, researched on the characteristics of flight trajectory and movements of land-to-landballistic missile, established the motion differential equations of the missile with three parts ofpowered phase, free flight phase and reentry phase, build flight control algorithm and multi-objectiveoptimization model of the missile. Build system model of missile trajectory simulations by C++language to optimize missile performance. The model includes coordinate transform, gravity, standardatmosphere, engine (include first-stage, second-stage and third-stage), flight program and so on.Secondly, the multi-objective optimization algorithm is established for land-to-land ballisticmissile in the thesis. The multi-objective optimization were transferred into single-objectiveoptimization by using the weighted sum method, then the trajectory optimization was transferred intoparameter optimization by choosing some important parameters of flight program angles. To solveGA’s slow convergence problem, this static parameters are optimized by the improved geneticalgorithm (IGA).Finally, based on the above missile models and the multi-objective optimization algorithm,trajectories are optimized and numerically simulated for three different ranges of Land-to-Landmissile systems in MATLAB included short-range, medium-range and intercontinental Land-to-Landballistic missile. The numerical simulation results verified that this missile models and themulti-objective optimization algorithm can be used to optimize flight trajectories for all Land-to-Landballistic missile with the excellent effects.
