Abstract


When world economy grows stably and market requirement is high, the enterprises don’t care about the cost on R&D and the market share increase. But when the economy conditions change and growth slows down, the enterprises usually run in a mess. The old strategic plan and sales forecast have to be changed and the plan of new product launch and its supply chain also have to be modified. It causes the change of the procurement plan and increases the stock quantity.High tension of cash flow will cause great trouble to the operation of the enterprises. Then we always hope to“lay off staff to increase efficiency”. The most valued chain will be kept and reduce the unnecessary dealings and work flow. Pick up the fittest staff..What is the target of the enterprise operation and what are the core work flows behind the target? How should we evaluate if the work flow really work and how to monitor its performance and risks? We need to understand the structure of work flow and KPI, which can be monitored by information system in real time.This article first illustrates the concept of structuring the work flow and its necessity and urgency for big enterprises and in what way it can increase the competency the enterprises.The ARIS software will be discussed in the part II of the article and how it monitor the core work flow. In part III, we will analyse the case of Sany Heavy Industry Co., Ltd and what problem and what proposal we should take when the ARIS software is applied in the design and implementation.
