Crew Planning Methods for Motor Train Unit

With construction and putting into operation of the passenger dedicated line, in order to guarantee train crew work balance and rationality, the crew planning optimization of motor train unit has to be studied. In this thesis, on the basis of existing research, the theories of transportation histology, linear programming, graph theory and optimum method are used in the actual investigation combined with practical application. The crew planning optimization method systematic is analyzed by actual investigation, theory and algorithm design.(1)The general theory and method of motor train unit crew planning are expounded, which include meaning, category, influencing factors and preparation process of crew planning;(2)The characteristic of crew planning method in motor train unit lines was analyzed. Based on existing research methods and the idea of human-oriented, the problem is transformed to a single share multiple traveling salesman problem. Pheromone enhanced ant colony algorithm was designed, and the effectiveness of the algorithm is verified by MATLAB programming and on-site date gathering;(3)Through analyzing scheduling planning problem in detailed and considering train staff workload and justice, the single batch scheduling model is proposed, and the problem is converted into asymmetric traveling salesman problem modeling. This modeling is solved by methods of minimum spanning tree and a series of heuristic algorithms. Then according to the train crew work intensity, to add reasonably their home rest is added reasonably.
