Abstract

In recent years, the high-rise buildings have been widely developed, in whichmixed structure system are more and more used. With the height of the buildingincreasing, the influence of the vertical deformation of the mixed structure system isalso growing. The research on vertical deformation difference of the mixed structuresystem more and more cause for concern. Though studying of vertical deformation ofthe mixed structure system, specific measures can be proposed to control verticaldeformation difference and then to reduce its impact in the construction process. As a result of using the CFST frame-reinforced concrete corewall structure, differential deformation between columns and corewall of wuhaoyuan super high-risebuilding during construction is complex and worth sophisticated investigating.Through using of the method of construction process simulation and taking theconstruction process, construction leveling and time-varying characteristics of thematerial into account, a refined finite element models is developed to conduct forwardanalytical method and backward analytical method respectively. In this paper, the results of forward analytical method and backward analyticalmethod are compared by analysis of the finite element model. The law of verticaldeformation of the structure reacted by analysis is similar. Forward analytical methodor backward analytical method or combination of both methods can be flexibilitychosen in engineering applications to achieve the vertical deformation accurateanalysis to ensure the safety of the construction. The law of vertical deformation difference is summarized at different stagesthroughout the construction process on the basis of analysis. The CFST column andreinforced concrete core wall have the similar vertical deformation law, which is thevertical deformation is small in the bottom and on the top of the building and big inthe middle. The maximum deformation of total vertical deformation of the structureoccurs in the3/5position of the total height of the building. The elastic deformationhas the largest proportion in the various components of vertical deformation, followsby creep deformation, shrinkage deformation of concrete is minimum. Verticaldeformation difference includes difference between column and wall and differencebetween columns. The vertical deformation difference is small in the bottom of the structure, it increases with the increase in height, the maximum appeares in themiddle, then gradually decreases as the altitude increases. Deformation difference inthe upper reverse growth, the maximum reverse deformation difference appears at thehighest floor. The difference between columns is smaller than the difference betweencolumn and wall. Difference between the column and corner posts is larger thanbifference between others. The deformation difference increases with the increase inheight. The maximum deformation difference between columns appear in the topmostparts of the structure.Vertical deformation difference will have an adverse influence on the buliding. Some control measures on vertical deformation difference are discussed from twoaspects including structural design measures.
