Abstract


Energy consumption of HVAC is usually half the total energy consumption of anemporium. This paper presents the energy saving measures and research of HVAC foremporium at home and abroad. Energy saving method is studied based on theXiangtan BBG square.A good HVAC design can both meet design requirements and save energyfurthest with ensuring customer and staff comfortable. The project is with a coveredarea of120thousand m2,2underground storeys,8overground storeys plus aninterlayer and12storeys locally.Based on the load feature, comparison of schemes and economic analysis ofheat/cold source are made. Heat/cold source of centrifugal chillers and screw chillersand gas fired-boilers is chosen. In this scheme, the biggest load is considered withsmall load of some rooms. A low refrigerating output screw chiller is used to meet thesmall load requirement. Energy-saving optimal design is made: scheme selection ofheat/cold source; selection of air handling units; design and computing of water andventilation system; design of indoor delivery wind flow form; design of insulatinglayer of water and ventilation system; noise elimination and vibration isolation etc.These measures make both comfortable indoor environment and lower energyconsumption. At last, energy-saving analysis is made on building envelope andequipment and energy-saving result is assessed after field measurement.Research results present that: energy-saving design and improvement of HVACfor emporium can be carried on in many ways. More advanced method is used tocompute load and flow more accurately. According the actual requirement of thebuilding, HVAC system is divided and heat/cold source scheme and high COPequipment are chosen. Insulating building envelop is designed. In the process, theHVAC system is real-time adjusted using automatic control system. Goodmanagement system should be formulated to care and maintenance HVAC system andthen the system can keep high COP and long lifetime.
