Abstract


The medical industry is promising all arould the world. Along with the development of medical insurance system, development of urbanization, population rise, aging problem, the medical industry in China grows very fast. The medical industry concerns the health and safety of people, and the stability and development of society.T Company is a private medical device manufacturer. As a young and small company, if T Company wants to survive and grow in medical device field, it’s urgent to improve it’s manufacturing system to cut cost and improve efficiency.This article sorts and summarizes the concerned theory of IE and Lean, based on the current status of T company, applies the tools such as work flow analysis,5W1H and PIWTQMP, diagnoses the operation status and onsite manufacturing of workshop 1. Based on this study, the overall thought of manufacturing line improvement is built, and the implementation steps is established. And the manufacturing layout, manufacturing balance and Kanban system are studied in details.This article can help T company to improve its manufacturing management system and manufacturing efficiency, and the study thought and method is a refernce to other medical device manufacturers for their manufacturing lean improvement.
