Three-phase asynchronous motor is extensively used in industry because of itssimple structure, convenient production, reliable operation and low price. In order tosimplify the design process and reduce production cost, during the design of themotor using corresponding computer-aided design system to do electromagneticcalculation and optimization for motor. Currently, there is only single version ofcomputer-aided design for three-phase asynchronous motor on the market, so it isn’tconvenient for using and results in waste. For this reason, developing a new versionof computer-aided design which contains various kinds of three-phase asynchronousmotors becomes a hot research topic.On the basis of current domestic and foreign research achievement on three-phase asynchronous motors electromagnetic design, a variety of three-phaseasynchronous motor design features are analyzed in this thesis. While designprinciples and design methods of the three-phase asynchronous motors computer-aided design system are formulated in this thesis. The computer-aided design systemfor three-phase asynchronous motor is developed with the language of C++Builderwhich is object-oriented, visible and having menu technology. The system isdeveloped according to software engineering ideas of modularization and integration.At the same time, the improved simulated annealing algorithm is worked as a methodto search the optimal tool. In addition, it has the advantages of friendly interface,easy to operate and running in the environment of Windows XP. This system can beused for electromagnetic designing and optimization for seven different kinds ofthree-phase asynchronous motors, at the same time, it can also store data and outputworking characteristic curve.On the basis of a small cage rotor asynchronous motor electromagnetic design,the computer-aided design of three-phase asynchronous motor system to designelectromagnetism is utilized in this thesis. It sets up connector with the Matlab, getsdesign of electromagnetism and outputs curve of operating characteristic. It also optimizes the design.
