The type of dual-PWM converter makes the PWM rectifier to take the place of thetraditional diode rectifier or thyristor rectifier on the basic of the universal frequency conversiontechnology. Not only the DC voltage has been adjusted in a certain range by the dual-PWMsystem, but also the current in AC side of the rectifier has become sinusoid, and makes the systemrunning in unity power factor. At the same time the dual-PWM system can eliminate theharmonic pollution, operate into quadrants and improve the dynamic performance of the system.In the view of the double PWM inverter existing many advantages, this paper introduces aresearch on a set of open general motor experimental platform based on double PWM inverter forgraduate students’ developmental experimental researches. This paper gives the overall designscheme of the experimental platform, the experimental platform can achieve PWM rectifierexperiment and realize many motors’ different control strategies for the AC induction motors,permanent magnet synchronous motors and brushless DC motors.This paper introduces in detail PWM rectifier’s mathematical model based on the switchingfunction and the mathematical model of two phase stationary coordinate system and dqsynchronous rotating coordinate system through the coordinate transformation for PWM rectifier.The paper uses a double closed-loop control system of current closed-loop and voltageclosed-loop based on PI regulator. This paper adopts the way of capturing line voltage zero torealize power grid voltage vector orientation, completes the space vector PWM (SVPWM)control mode to verify the correctness and feasibility of the system. This paper introduces theresearch of brushless DC motor without position sensor control system, uses the forced motorrotation to start the motor and then uses back EMF method to realize brushless DC motor withoutposition sensor control system research. Next the space vector control of permanent magnetsynchronous motor is studied, achieving the double closed-loop control system of the currentloop and speed loop.The control chip uses TI Company’s chip DSP2812and reserved port is resource-rich, so thesystem is used very flexible. Using the system can complete different motors and different controlstrategies research work and it has a wide range of practical application value.
