Abstract


With the rapid development of the city’s economic and social, the environmentalresources and energy are facing great challenge. The contradiction between thepopulation growth, the limitation of resources reserve and the demand of incrementalusage is becoming more and more obvious, and become an important sustainabledevelopment bottlenecks for the development quickly and well of economic and social.How to search for population, resources, environment and economic coordination ofscientific development is a growing concern by the party and the government and allsectors of society. Thus accelerating biomass comprehensive utilization of resourcesare important ways to ease the city’s resources and energy shortages.Straw as the important biomass resources, the output is very rich. All kinds ofcrops straw output of Luoyang can reach3.6million tons. In recent years, the cityspeeds up the pace of comprehensive utilization of straw, and made a certain degree ofsuccess. However, some problems and deficiencies still exist in the strawcomprehensive utilization in Luoyang city, for example the problems of farmers’ideological understanding, straw burning, and financial issues. These issues becomeimportant factors of restricting the straw rapid development in Luoyang.The ways of the straw utilization are analyses comprehensively in this paper.such as straw into soil directly, producing biogas, straw silage, straw, straw mushroom,establishment of enterprises and cooperatives, straw comprehensive utilization ofstraw as raw material for paper and building materials, and so on. On the basis of these,some reasonable suggestions and countermeasures are put forward to explore the strawto treasure, increase peasants’ income, and promote the social benefits, economicbenefit and ecological benefit. This work will play an important role to build aresource-saving, environment-friendly national advanced clean city.
