Test one:The Chinese mitten crab cultivation test of recycled water was carried out in xiaojing village. The test surface was333500m2and inlet and drain was separated. It transformed33615m2water surface to classifily purify tail water. The first stage tanks was3600m2, it mainly planted massive philoxeroides and philoxeroides coverd50%~70%surface. The second stage tanks was13340m2, it planted elodea in the whole pool and philoxeroides on the shore, it equiped2500m2arco eco-Man bases, too. The water of the second stage tanks can pour into the crab tank, or reserved in the third quarter of tanks. The third quarter of tanks was16675m2, it planted elodea and fed appropriate crabs. We managed the third quarter of tanks the same with other crab ponds, kept the water level above1.2m. The third quarter of tanks was mainly used to reserve purified water. The output fed by recycled water increased by210kg/hm2and no disease occurred throughout the region. The contents of BOD5, NH4+-N, TN, TP, CODmn, chlorophyll a and suspended solids of the second stage tanks were1.16mg/L,0.42mg/L,1.18mg/L,0.08mg/L,3.97mg/L,14.4μg/L,3.14mg/L, it decreased by42%、30%、45%、58%、14%、26%and78%compared to the crab pool, it decreased by49%、65%、61%、60%、18%、58%、67%compared to the source of water.It meet the first stage of Taihu Lake Basin pond water discharge standard (tentatively). Conclusion:The water treated by purification of the pond improved greatly, we can cycle use the water or directly discharged to the outside.Test two:the technics of circulating water culture to four model were performended to evaluate the calculated methods of pollutant and decontamination potential in Xiangchen in2010and2011. Firstly, the pollutants discharged from four fish farms were assessed according to previous research achievements and aqauculture management. Based on pollutant data, projects were devised to ensure the decontamination potential exceeded the quantity of discharged pollutants. Results revealed the water quality in decontaminating area meet the first level standard of "Water discharge standard for Taihu basin aquaculture pond (DB32/T1705-2011)". Conclusion:the calculated methods for discharging pollutants from fish farm and decontamination potential are applicable.Test three:The safety, nutriation and characteristics of senses were evaluated for Chinese mitten crab fed formula feed. Crab catched from Yangchen lake and fed mainly with trash fish was as control. The results showed that the safety quality of crab fed formula feed meet the green food standard NY/T841-2004and non-polluted food standard NY5064-2005. No significant difference was observed between test crab and control crab in content of moisture, protein and lipid in whole body and muscle, nor in muscle amino acids. It was noticed that the carapace colour of cooked test crab was not as fresh as control crab, however, the reason lay in the lackage of astaxanthin in the pond environment. The authors suggested add astaxanthin to the crab feed to improve the carapace colour. Conclusion:It would not adversely affect the safety and characteristics of senses of Chinese mitten crab if we fed formula feed instead of trash fish. We could further improve the quality of Chinese mitten crab by perfect formula.
