Abstract


Objective:Diabetic Foot is a kind of serious complication of Diabetes. Due to the expensive medical costs, long time treatment and severe symptoms, the patients’life quality is seriously affected. This study is to observe the improvement of life quality on diabetic foot patients with the decoction of Tonifying Qi and Kidney and Promoting blood circulation.Methods:adopting randomized controlled trial,60cases were randomly divided into control group (30cases) which just remain the basic treatment of diabetes and treatment group (30cases) which Chinese medicinal decoction was added. Setting4weeks as one treatment course, compare the change of patients’clinical symptoms and life quality between the two groups before and after treatment.Results:(1)The medicinal symptoms of both groups were relieved after treatment, but treatment group was more effective.(2)The cure rate and effective rate of Traditional Chinese Medicine about diabetic foot in treatment group were higher than control group.(3)DIMS(Diabetes Impact Measurement Scales) showed that the scores of the6dimensions were all raised after treatment in both groups, but only the scores of dimension of well-being in control group did not have statistical difference. Comparing with two groups, the life quality of treatment group was better than control group in all6dimensions, and the result had statistical difference.Conclusion:Treating diabetic foot patients with the method of Tonifying Qi and Kidney and Promoting blood circulation could relieve the symptoms of diabetic foot and improve the patients’life quality.
