Abstract


In 1998 the Ministry of Education formally approved the formation of two new vocational institutions in Guangxi, Guangxi Vocational Education has formally entered a new period of development. After nearly a decade of development, Guangxi Vocational education training for Guangxi's economic and social development of a large number of highly skilled practical talents, and find a higher vocational education development model suitable for the area, and formed its own characteristics. In order to adapt to this new situation, Guangxi Vocational to sum up the experience, refining the characteristics of a stage and further study on this basis to continue to adapt to the requirements of the development of Guangxi, Guangxi Vocational. This article is the in-depth study of Guangxi Vocational Development Features based on the face of the new situation, the future development proposals. Currently, the domestic research on the characteristics of higher vocational education, from the overall research, basically featuring its own characteristics, as well as professional vocational colleges, and with the actual combination of one of the provinces, autonomous regions, economic and social development up studies illustrate the characteristics of higher vocational education. The third part is the manifestation of the characteristics of higher vocational education in Guangxi. Guangxi Vocational and Guangxi economic and social development of mutual adaptation government use various means dominant Vocational development process;, Guangxi Higher Vocational Education initially formed a complete system based on the government-led, mainly in scale development, regional distribution, school, level and the main body; then, Guangxi Vocational regional cooperation in the economic development process, to adapt to the economic development of the region formed at the same time opening up the school structure; Guangxi Vocational initially apparent in the development process, the national sexual characteristics, performance training tourism personnel in the development of ethnic areas of vocational colleges and highlight the ethnic customs. The fourth part Guangxi Vocational Education Features proposed theoretically recommendations. Mainly: the transformation of government functions and strengthen the autonomy of higher vocational colleges; Guangxi Vocational school system to further improve the school cooperation in the region and beyond; further deepen the degree of openness; actively strengthen the national characteristics of the vocational education and other aspects.
