Abstract

Because of environment pollution and energy depletion, development of new energy vehicles with low emissions becomes a hot spot in worldwide. Among the new energy vehicles, hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) becomes priorities because of its low emission and low fuel consumption. Traditional hybrid with multi-controller and multi-sensors cause multienergy tasks scheduling and random time delay in network control progress, which leads to HEV power, economic and emissions performance poor. It becomes a key issue in hybrid network control. The paper first studies the hybrid network control theory and principles based on CAN, and analysis the relationship between multienergy tasks scheduling, random time delay and HEV performances. Then, the influences and shortcomings of existing static, dynamic and mixed scheduling algorithms are analyzed from the prospect of solving real-time delay before proposing a HEV network control method based on mixed algorithm(Promted Mixed Traffic Scheduling, PMTS). The relationship between straight and layered structure and HEV performance is analyzed, and according that, a multienergy power network control system of HEV based on CAN is designed. After that, the control strategy and method of HEV multienergy power network control based on mixed algorithm are studied. Then, the paper establishes a simulation model of the CAN-based HEV multienergy power network control system in Matlab/Simulink and TrueTime. The HEV performance using different scheduling algorithms of traditional RM and the paper’s PMTS is simulated and analyzed under EUDC working conditions. In order to make a further verify of simulation results, a hardware-in-loop experiment system based on Simulink-TrueTime, LabVIEW software and NI PXI industrial control computer, ARM LPC1752 hardware is built. The experiments select a typical city driving condition as an input, and use CAN ports in hardwares for the network control of engine and motor. Actual speed signals feedback to software model in NI PXI host through CAN network to get the actual driving speed engine, fuel consumption and emission datas of HEV.
