Abstract


RIP is a distance vector - based routing protocols , due to its easy operation , system resource consumption , suitable for use in small networks . RIPng is based on IPv6 RIP routing protocol . The RIPng protocol To run to ensure network the RIPng router can correctly interoperability interoperability , the need for interoperability testing . Protocol interoperability testing process , if we can achieve control and observe the test system in the IUT , will be more conducive to interoperability testing . In this paper, the routing software Zebra the RIPng protocol interoperability tests of control and observation problems as : First , the analysis of the status quo on the issues of control and observation in the test protocol definition of interoperability testing control and observation problems unilateral interoperability test environment with control and observation points interoperability testing architecture . Secondly, the RIPng of RFC documents given the RIPng of finite state machine (FSM) model reachability graph for two FSM interoperability model described . According to the actual operating conditions of the agreement , the reachability graph simplification . Simplify the the reachability graph the test sequence generation method using the method based on a simplified reachability graph generated test sequence arranged to achieve the the RIPng control and observation points . Then, open source routing software Zebra software structure and functionality , describes using Zebra as the object of study of the reasons , for example, introduced the working process of the Zebra . Designing and writing test cases , insert the code for the control and observation in Zebra , written RIPng routing information tools , interoperability testing RIPng control and observation . Finally , this paper presents the next phase of work . According to the existing work , control and observation problems of interoperability testing more generalized formal study , more detailed study of the operation control and observation RIPng interaction .
