Abstract


Sanjin thoughts and Cultures in Spring and Autumn Period and Warring States Period are an important part of Chinese thoughts and cultures. A group of pioneers of Chinese thoughts and cultures were active on the land of Sanjin. The pioneers include historiographers Dong Hu, Shi Mo and Shi Kuang in Spring and Autumn Period, legalists Li Kui, Shang Yang and Han Fei, political strategists Su Qin and Zhang Yi, Confucius Zi Xia and Xun Zi, etc. Case studies about these scholars’works are abundant. This dissertation, from the aspect of ideologists’outlooks, explores the Sanjin Scholars’ group characteristics of ideology, thinking mode and value orientation, so as to better master the regional and cultural characteristics of the academic ideology of the school of Jin.The dissertation is divided into six parts:the first part is introduction, mainly about the the reason of choosing the topic, themeaning of the topic, delimitation of the concepts, the researchmethods and related trends. The second part introduces Sanjinacademic backgrounds, Sanjin scholars and schools. This part isthe basis of studying the outlooks of Sanjin scholars, which areformed in certain historical background. Based on previousliterature, the third part makes comparative study of Sanjinscholars’ views of nature. Specifically, this part, from the origin,evolution law, structure of nature, and the relationship betweennature and human, analyses whether Sanjin scholars have commonorientation in the understanding of the nature. The fourth partmainly makes comparative study of Sanjin scholars’ historicalconceptions, trying to find the scholars’ common points anddifferences from historical development process, the relationshipbetween human and history, stability and instability of history. Thefifth part is the comparison about Sanjin scholars’ outlook on life.The part compares the scholars’ inner theories of life. At last, thesixth part summarises the outlooks of the scholars in Spring andAutumn Period. The part sums up the characteristics of theiroutlooks from thinking, school and era, so as to find the thinkingmode and thinking orientation of hidden behind their outlooks.The comparative analysis of the outlooks of Sanjin scholars in Spring and Autumn Period and Warring States Period is helpful inexploring the group academic traits of these scholars. The analysisis also helpful in deepening the understanding of Sanjin regionalculture and developing the values of these scholars. All these are ofconsiderable significance to develop the core value in theelementary stage of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
