Abstract


With the rapid economicand urbanization development, more and more farmers chose to work in the city, making their children forcibly separated from them, which becoming a special group—left-home kids.In recent years, more and more researchers pay attention to the development status of left-home kids, and psychologists have had many fingdings about this.In order to investigate the present situationof social relation network, emotional intelligence, and social creativity among different types of left-home students in junior high school and the relationship between those variables,582junior high schoolstudents in Hubei province were selcected and measured by the questionnaires, including Parent-adolescent Cohesion Scale, Relationship Quality Questionnaire, Peer Relations Questionnaire, Self-esteem Scale, Emotional Intelligence Scale and The Questionnaire of Social Creativity of Elementary School Children. The results indicated that:(1)Boys scored significantly higher than girls in parent-adolescent cohesion.Junior high school students whose parents are all gone out scored significantly higher than whose one of their parents gone out in grandparents-grandchildren support.Junior high school students whose parents all gone out scored significantly higher than whose parents are all at home in grandmother-negative.(2)The score of junior high school students whose parents all went out significantly higher than whose parents are all at home in social creativity,prestigeand peer influence,problem-solving ability, fortitude and emulousness.(3)Eighth-grade student scored higher than seventh-grade students in emotional assessments of others.Junior high school students whose parents are all gone outscored higher than whose one of the parents is at home in emotional intelligence and emotional assessments of others.Nomal boys scored higher than normal girls in emotional intelligence, emotional self-assessment, emotion using and emotional control.(4)When their parentsall went out, self-esteem, emotional intelligence and grandmother-support could significantly predict social creativity. When one of their parents went out, self-esteem, emotional intelligence and grandfather-support could significantly predict social creativity. When their parents are at home, self-esteem, emotional intelligence and father-adolescent cohesion could significantly predictsocial creativity.(5)When their parentsall went out,self-esteem, father-adolescent cohesion and grandmother-support could significantly positive predicte motional intelligence. When one of their parents went out, self-esteem and mother-adolescent cohesion could significantly positive predicte motional intelligence. When their parents are at home, self-esteem and grandfather-support could significantly positive predicte motional intelligence, while peer rejection could significantly negative predicte motional intelligence.(6)The relationship between social relation network and social creativity was partially mediated by emotional intelligence among each type of left-home students.And The relationship between self-esteem and social creativity was also partially mediated by emotional intelligence among each type of left-home students.
