Abstract


The eighteen major political report explicitly proposed the present stage our country toimprove people’s livelihood and strengthening social construction in the management ofinnovation, to promote the development of the theory of people’s livelihood in our country,ensure the people’s living standards, improve people’s quality of life is an important contentof social construction, and is also the basis and starting point of the research in other fields.Current our country is in the rapid economic development, social transformation period, inthis social background, the social contradictions are related to people’s livelihood problems,directly related to the livelihood of the people business. In contemporary Western Europe atthis time a positive discussion on the theory of people’s livelihood, to find its value andshortcomings, combined with the actual situation in our country, for our country to explorethe social construction of how to better provide good solutions to people’s livelihood issues.This article mainly through three different kinds of people’s livelihood incontemporary Western Europe theory has carried on the thorough analysis, this paperexpounds the value, the nature and limitations of the western theory of people’s livelihood,to contrast our country current situation of the construction of the livelihood of the people,and find problems existing in the construction of the people’s livelihood in our country, andto seek the basic path to solve the problem of our country people’s livelihood options,provide further reference for building a harmonious socialist society.This paper introduction part narrates the research purpose and significance, thedomestic research present situation and the innovation place, research method andapproach. The second chapter mainly elaborated the contemporary China and the westernconcept of the people’s livelihood, and tries to contrast and analysis, looking for similaritiesand differences. The third chapter combed the theory of Western Europe after the secondworld war developed capitalist countries of the people’s livelihood development, discussesthe Western Europe three different theory has the advantages of the people’s livelihood andfaces severe challenges. The fourth chapter is the scientific analysis of the livelihood of thepeople of Western Europe, on the basis of three theories, summarizes the nature and limitations of the western theory of people’s livelihood, for our country to provide referencefor the development of the theory of the livelihood of the people’s thinking. Chapter fivemainly analyze the value of the western theory of people’s livelihood, from the aspects ofeconomy, politics, law, social enlightenment for the construction of the people’s livelihoodin our country are put forward.
