Abstract


The relationship is in the long-term war confrontation between Ming Dynasty andMongolia before “The Long-qing Peace Treaty”. South to the defense of Mongolia, theMing Dynasty build the Great Wall on this basis nine towns are build. Xuanfu, Datongand Shanxi in the middle called " Three Middle Frontier Town " in history. The status isparticularly important for protecting Beijing. There is a direct threat to Datong, Xuanfusince Altan Khan rise in the Mongolia Fengzhouchuan.“Three Middle Frontier Town”became the most intense war between Ming Dynasty and Mongolia.
