Abstract


Since 2002, Inner Mongolia’s economy has maintained fast development because of a large number of rich mineral resources in Inner Mongolia. During this period, the mineral resource-based enterprises have entered a stage of rapid development and become a pillar of economic development in Inner Mongolia. Mineral resource-based enterprises have gradually entered the public’s perspective, and contribute to economic development in Inner Mongolia, however, it has aroused extensive attention that mineral resource-based enterprises do harmful impacts of the ecological environment and resources. This paper, which will integrate the theory of enterprises social responsibility into the mineral resource-based enterprises, aims to propose the theory of mineral resource-based corporate social responsibility and content. In the field of enterprises social responsibility, this paper will give a detailed study of enterprises social responsibility for mineral resource-based enterprises.Firstly, this paper defines the concept and theory of enterprises social responsibility, and introduces the concept and theories evolution of enterprises social responsibility. Secondly, through the introduction of theory of enterprises social responsibility, stakeholder theory and the characteristics of mineral resource-based enterprises, this paper obtains the content of mineral resource-based enterprises’ social responsibility. Thirdly, through questionnaire information, this paper gives a case study on practice of the mineral resources-based enterprises social responsibility in Inner Mongolia, and obtains the problems of the mineral resources-based enterprises social responsibility in Inner Mongolia. Finally, from three aspects of the national government, non-governmental organizations and the enterprises, this paper resolves the problems of mineral resource-based enterprises’social responsibility, and gives some suggestions of mineral resource-based enterprises’social responsibility.The study results show that:mineral resource-based enterprises’social-responsibility includes either the general problems of corporate social responsibility or the unique problems of corporate social responsibility. We should consider the specific problems of enterprises social responsibility.
