In is called "the map reading age" of the moment, picture book with its irresistible charm, attracting more and more young readers and even adults. Creators presented the theme intuitively with graphic and character combination, interlaced with time and space creating a colorful world, helped to advance the reading interest of children, and infection in adults. Picture books place an important role in cultivating children’s language application ability, inspire children’s unique fancy, exercise the child’s independent thinking ability, improve the emotional aspects of children’s personality. Currently, introduced children’s picture books in children’s picture book market is still occupies an important share, the development of the domestic original picture story book obviously inadequate. Along with our country’s emphasis on preschool education from all walks of life rise ceaselessly, the demanding and requirement of original picture book increase accordingly. In comparison, foreign children’s picture storybook because of long development history shows a high level no matter in terms of exterior design or body content.This study selected the theme of the introduction version picture book as the focus, take global well-known picture book award winning entries as analysis object, and mainly use the literature analytic method, attempts to summarize and found the theme of the introduction version picture book and its characteristics, so as to enrich children’s picture book theoretical system, provide some useful thinking to build a picture book creation theory system. On accounting of that introducing version picture books are mostly classic or who won the international award, has wide influence in the source countries and even the world, which ideological content and artistic quality are very outstanding. At the same time, because of wide time and region span, they also broaden children’s visual field and help for young children close to the world, understand the different age, different countries and region culture. Outline the theme of the picture book benefit to understand the connotation of the works, at the same time provide some useful thinking for domestic original drawing creation and publication development,with reference to the "Kindergarten Education Guidelines",This study also made classification and summary by the five areas of education contents, among them, related topics in the field of health especially mental health, and society account for a majority. Without doubt, as pointed out in guidelines, that "contents in each fields are mixed together, from different angles to promote children’s emotion, attitude, ability, knowledge, skills, etc." The same situaton in picture books, we can’t separate the the theme of each picture books in isolated point of view, because they give the reader the overall visual enjoyment and reading experience. The main task of the second chapter presents the wonderful theme of introduced picture books, in order to give an elementary impression of what picture books are expressed, what contents and theme they reflect.In general, the introducted children’s award-winning picture book with its children’s point of view, open space, simple theme, diverse fields and unconstrained style of creativity and breakthrough of the traditional, as well as the function of educational, won the children readers and adult readers’confirmation.In reading, adults can let children reading in natural and relaxed way on the basis understanding the overall subject. Adults had better to provide support rather than direct infusion, let children readers by contacting, comparison, analysis, or topic discussions, so close to the central theme. At the same time, adults should keep an open mind to view young children as the main body of reading, to respect children’s reading experience, fully give freedom of interpretation, in order to stimulate further interest in reading picture books. On picture book topic selection, should take into account of the characteristics and development level of children’s physical and mental development, starting from the theme of the actual living close to the children, choose rich variety of topic types as far as possible, while avoiding excessive functional orientation.
