Abstract


EPC mode is a new project general contracting model, but also the construction sector in the current international engineering contracting market vigorously promote a domestic contract model. With the gross domestic contract market is gradually maturing, more and more professional design institutes began to enter the field of general contracting. How to make a professional large Design and Research Institute successfully into EPC Mode international engineering company, based on the project, the integrated development of the whole industry chain, access to the overall profit of the industry chain, bigger and stronger, and has become an important research issue. In this paper, the actual development of the North China Municipal Engineering Design \u0026 Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as the North China House) situation as a case, this more in-depth discussion and research. In short, this paper is to study the professional design institute core EPC Mode is the starting point and goal, through theoretical analysis and practical verification, professional design institute to EPC contracting enterprise reform is necessary, but also the inevitable trend. The EPC mode theory analysis and connotation research that led the organization in the form of professional design institute, part of the strength of the construction unit should first establish for auxiliary EPC Mode ideologically raise awareness, aware of this transition is not only conducive to the reform of China's construction enterprises, help to improve our productivity and competitiveness, more conducive with the international standards. Followed by the design unit should organizational restructuring and a series of reforms to make it have the the EPC engineering firm policy conditions. Finally, it should be the creation of specialized management and technical staff, to have the EPC engineering company talent pool and technical strength. Therefore, large-scale construction enterprises, especially professional design institute transition to the EPC engineering company to its current practical to participate in international competition will be the strategic choice.
