Abstract


In today’s society, the rapid development of new media technology have a profound impact on all aspects of social development. With the combination of new media and the university campus is increasingly close, related research on the construction of university campus culture under the new media environment has gradually become the focus of academic research.Starting from the concept of the new media, then the different definitions of new media from some representative scholars in the western and Chinese academia field are presented. After that this paper introduces three kinds of basic types of new media. Based on the analysis of the five main characteristics of the new media, this paper summarized the development situation and looked forward to future trend of new media.The discussion of the university campus culture part is starting from the study of its connotation. The developing process of university campus is introduced by briefly reviewing the development history of university campus culture, the basic elements of the modern university campus culture and its influence and the development prospect of the development trend of modern university campus culture. After that four mainly basic characteristics of the university campus culture were put on. In addition, this paper talked about both the positive and negative effects of the development of the new media has brought to the university campus culture,at the same time cleared the mechanism of how the new media acting on university campus culture, and then analyzes the new characteristics of university campus culture under the new media environment. This pager mainly expounds the measures of inheriting and innovation of the university campus culture in the new media environment, and summarized several changing regulars based on the context mentioned above. This is the innovation point.Finally, according to previous research, this paper suggested the significance, regulations and measures of the university campus culture under the new media environment.This is the conclusion of the study. In this paper, the construction of university campus culture should always take care of the students. Additionally, the innovation and development of university campus culture under the new media environment should be constructed from three aspects:the improvement of university campus material culture construction; the enhancement of university campus spiritual culture construction, and the complement of university campus system culture construction.
