Abstract


The traditional Chinese festival is the Chinese nation important festive days, itcarries with the Chinese nation’s traditional culture and it is the Chinese nationindispensable historical and cultural heritage. China’s traditional festivals began in thezhou dynasty, it has been two thousand years of history. In our country’s manytraditional festival, the Spring Festival, Tomb-sweeping Day, Dragon Boat Festival,Mid-Autumn festival and the double ninth festival is China’s most popular and typicalfestival. These festivals contains several education resources which can bring inthe political education, such as: the national spirit with patriotism, family and life,humanity quality and harmonious interpersonal relationship, the human and the natureharmonious.Ideological and political education is the one big characteristic of China whichcan become the impregnable position in China. The party and the state has alwaysattached great importance to the development of the ideological work and it has madeconsiderable achievement under the hard, ideological and political education work inthe ideological and political work theory, and the university education practice. Butafter reform and opening up, along with our country social economy, politics, culturesystem reform, all kinds of values collide each other in the period of transition, thepenetration of the western culture and the loss of the traditional festival cultureconnotation, these factors are more or less brought trouble to the contemporaryuniversity students’ thought and action. In addition，the uncertainty of the collegestudents themselves lead to the Chinese traditional festival gradually blurred in theyoung generation of college students’ consciousness. The development of thetraditional Chinese festivals are faded.This paper do in-depth investigation in the leaven between the traditionalfestivals and the ideological and political education. In this paper, I tried to analyzethe fusion point of the political education and the traditional Chinese festival throughintroducing from the resources of the political education conditions to discusses the effective path which can prompt the effective fusion between the traditional Chinesefestivals and the political education. Do all of these is to make students more clearlyunderstand the Chinese traditional festival and in the end let traditional culture beinherited and developed.
